GECCO tests
The tests of an integrated information environment "GECCO" were held in The Main School of Fire Service on 3rd February 2016. GECO supports crisis management (especially response) and civil protection processes by providing access to the geoinformation products and information exchange.
System was created within project „GECCO: space-derived GEoinformation for Crisis management and Coordination” funded by the Government of Poland through an European Space Agency Contract under Plan for European Cooperating States (PECS).
The tool is dedicated for:
- entities that are involved in process of Crisis Management and Civil Protection in Poland - Professional Portal
- society - Public Portal and Mobile Application.
The participants were familiarized with the system and had the opportunity to test it using simulated crisis scenarios.
