COLLARIS Network: COLLaborative network on unmanned AeRIal Systems will continue its activities
Building upon the results of the COLLARIS Network, this project aims to continue, expand and further develop the already established international network of crisis management and civil protection practitioners, research institutions and public administration interested in collecting and transferring knowledge, exchanging experiences, skills, good practices and information on operational procedures for the optimal use of drones in crisis management and rescue missions.

How were drones and geo-information analysis used to support emergency service operations during the recent flooding in southern Poland? What practical benefits did their widespread use bring, and what difficulties and problems were encountered? CoSky - Study Visit to Norway
From January 20 to 22, 2025, the Crisis Information Centre (CBK PAN) team, together with representatives of Polish rescue services and police, participated in a study visit to Norway organized under the bilateral CoSky initiative. The visit aimed to exchange experiences and gain knowledge about best practices in complex air operations involving drones and manned aviation, as well as UAV mapping for crisis management purposes.

CoSky - Polish-Norwegian bilateral initiative for increased efficiency of use of drones in civil protection
In October 2024, the Polish - Norwegian bilateral initiative CoSky was launched under the Program "Internal Affairs", implemented within the framework of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism and the EEA Grants 2014 - 2021. The program is managed by the Polish Ministry of the Internal Affairs and Administration. Led by the Crisis Information Centre of the Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences (CIK CBK PAN) in collaboration with Norway's Directorate for Civil Protection (DSB) and the company Tiepoint, this initiative seeks to enhance the efficiency of drone use in civil protection in Poland and Norway.
