Scientific conference on emergency medical services in the state security system
The aim of the conference was to exchange practical experiences related to the activities carried out for the security and crisis management in the context of emergency medical services. The two-day meeting was an opportunity to exchange good practices and views on practical aspects of the activities at intervention, on tactical and operational level. An important issue discussed during the presentations, was the integration of civilian and military operations during the planning and conducting of operations.
The inaugural speeches were given by representatives of the management of PAFA Dęblin and the National Consultant of the Ministry of Health for the emergency medicine. The thematic panels were attended by representatives of state rescue service entities and specialized units of the armed forces.
Crisis Information Centre SRC PAS presented the conclusions and lessons learned from the staff command table-top exercise as a method of optimization of emergency procedures using a simulation of disaster at sea.
Participants have the opportunity to become acquainted with the Polish Armed Forces equipment used to carry out the air evacuation at near and far distances, i.e. rescue helicopter PZL W-3WA SAR and transport aircraft CASA C-295 in medical evacuation version. PZL Mielec-produced Sikorsky Black Hawk helicopter was presented in a MEDEVAC configuration.
