Sentinel 1-B launched
On 25th April 2016 radar satellite Sentinel 1-B was launched from Europe's Spaceport located in Kourou, French Guiana and is already in space.
Sentinel 1-B joined its twin satellite Sentinel 1-A which was launched in April 2014 and is successfully providing data into European programme of environment observation Copernicus. Thanks to the presence of both satellites in orbit, satellite revisit time will be shortened to six days.
