Dry Run 2 - The general rehearsal of the Polish Trial of the DRIVER + Project

Within the framework of the Dry Run 2, technical readiness of solutions was conducted, procedures were tested and a full-day general rehearsal of the scenario was carried out. 14 fire brigade officers and other institutions involved in crisis management from many European Union countries participated actively in the event.

The subject of the Trial planned for the next month will be increasing situational awareness and facilitating the management of rescuers and information exchange. The solutions will be tested in the course of the scenario concerning the large-scale release of harmful substances caused by the destruction of the open shaft of the industrial waste container. The tests will last 2 days and will be combined with selected episodes of international cadet exercises organized by the State Fire Service.

The DRIVER+ project has received funding from the European Union's Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration under Grant Agreement n° 607798 and the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, from financial resources for science in 2018-2023 granted for the implementation of an international co-financed project.
